As you may know, The Colony is a condominium hotel and, as a result, we rely on the performance of our unit owners for our operations. Regrettably, the condominium owners and management have had a longtime dispute over the unit owners failure to fund their obligation expenses and, unfortunately, as a result we have been forced to suspend resort operations until the situation is resolved. While management is making every effort to settle the issues to allow us to reopen the hotel, honoring or accepting reservations at this time would not be feasible.
The Stone Crab, Seafood & Wine Festival has been temporarily postponed. It is our hope to one day soon celebrate the 20th anniversary of this special event! Please check back often for updated information regarding the new dates. We look forward to the day when we can raise a glass again with all our Stone Crab friends, supporters, chefs and vintners that have joined us over the last three decades.Questions can be addressed by calling 941.383.6464.
