Directions to The Colony From the Sarasota-Bradenton Airport
Exit airport and turn right on University Parkway. Proceed approximately 300 yards, turn left on US41. Continue on US41 (Tamiami Trail) South for about 4 miles, turn right on Gulfstream Avenue (789 North). The road changes its name to the John Ringling Blvd. Follow to St. Armand's Circle. Proceed 1/4 of the way around the circle (staying in the right hand lane) turning on to 789 North towards Longboat Key. The Colony is approximately 3 miles down 789 on the left hand side of the road. Go through the Welcome Gate and continue to the right you will make a half circle until you reach the high-rise building. The check-in desk is in the lobby of the high-rise building.

Exit Tampa Airport and follow directions to I-275 south to St. Petersburg. Take I-275 South for about 35 miles until you merge with I-75. Proceed south on I-75 to Fruitville Road exit 210 (old exit #39). Take Fruitville Road to the west for approximately 6 miles to US Highway 41 (Tamiami Trail) South. Turn left and proceed one block to Gulfstream Avenue (789 North). Turn right onto Gulfstream Ave. Proceed to the large traffic circle at St. Armand's Circle. Proceed 1/4 of the way around the circle (staying in the right hand lane) turning on to 789 North towards Longboat Key. The Colony is approximately 3 miles down 789 on the left hand side of the road. Take I-4 West to I-75 in Tampa. Follow I-75 South for about 45 minutes to Exit Fruitville Road exit 210 (old exit #39). Take Fruitville Road to the west for approximately 6 miles to US Highway 41 (Tamiami Trail) South. Turn left and proceed one block to Gulfstream Avenue (789 North). Turn right onto Gulfstream Ave. Proceed approximately two miles to the large traffic circle at St. Armand's Circle.
