The Colony loves kids, and kids love The Colony's complimentary children's programs.

Kinder Kamp and Kidding Around are complimentary daily programs of fun-filled activities designed especially for children ages 3-6 and 7-12. Children must be toilet-trained, group-oriented, out of diapers/pull-ups and at least 3 years of age. The program is from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in season, with a break for lunch, kids will have a great time. From organized beach games, swimming, fishing and shelling to creative art projects and tennis instruction, and a playground on the beach, enjoy the entire day!

Each day children can look forward to a new and different program of fun while making friends, learning about the wonders of the Gulf of Mexico and developing creative talents.

The Colony's children's programs are designed to provide a day of sun -n- fun for children. A variety of indoor and outdoor activities are offered. All carefully supervised by The Colony's certified, well-trained staff.

Seasonal Programs include Kids Corps (ages 9-12), LBK/FLA for teenager guests and Family Fare; designed with families in mind. Family Fare requires a parent to join the child in fun activities like fishing, fitness, sand sculpture and more.

Tiny Tots Tennis
Tiny Tots is a great introduction to the sport for kids ages 3 - 6. Our Pros and Kidding Around staff show kids the fun and easy way for them to get into the swing of this lifelong game. With specially-sized racquets and larger balls, we play games and have fun while learning the basics of tennis.

For children not attending programs or for non-program hours, The Colony will assist in scheduling baby sitters to meet your needs. 24 hour advance notice is recommended and there is a 3 hour minimum.
